Offset Question for TE37
Offset Question for TE37
Has anyone ever tried to run this set up on their evo?
18X9.5 +22 Front
18X9.5 +0 Rear
with 245/40/18 nitto555
is it possible to make them fit with a -1.5 rear camber for the rear?

18x9.5+30 will make the rears sit flush; you're going to need rolled fenders at the least and either a nice pull or a lot of camber. i doubt they'd fit with -1.5; if they do it will be really close
I had to roll pull and flair my quarter panels about 1.5" to fit a 9.5" +22 w/245/40/18. That was at about 1.3' camber in the rear. With the extra inch almost of offset you'll need a TON of camber and fender flair. Wait.. This is on an evo 8/9? Or X?

BTW, Alot of guys run different front to rear offsets. Should be OK w/ the drivetrain from what Ive read. (Diff width or circumference tires is a bad deal)

OK so as long as i have the same size tires all around there shouldnt be a problem right? its only if i run different size tires.

Hey, Im just a guy thats been on the EVOM boards for a few years & I run an aggressive wheel/tire set-up
I think you have made a mistake in mounting this set-up.
Sure a number of guys run diff offsets from front to rear & they report that it is OK. Personally I wouldnt do it
+0/+15 really dont work at all. +22 is very tough to make work. Even wide body EVO's dont run +0
See this pic. This is a 275/40/17 mounted on a +29. This set-up takes approx 8 hours of labor to make it fit correctly. If you cant stroke the rear susp like this then it just doesnt fit

Thank you for your Input I really appreciate it. Looks like I'm just going to sale this set up for someone who really wants it. I did as much research as possible and came to the conclusion tht I would have to run 225 in the rear and a some what aggressive amber to make it work correctly. And I just don't want that. I want to be able to set up where I can take them off slap my drag radials on and race with out have if to do any crazy corrections.
18x9 or 9.5 and a +30 offset is a pretty safe offset for wheels on evo's. i believe those fit with 255's and a fender roll (just to be safe) but don't need pulling. i'm not a fitment guru though so this could be completely wrong
