Coilover Noise (not typical clunk)
Ok I have searched and searched and really cant find my answer. I have seem many posts about a clunking(metal on metal) noise and when turning hearing clicks.....but this is different. I dont believe its a issue but would like a answer as to why. Here is the my concern, I have Endura Tech coilovers and when I set the damper to the softest setting when I go over a bump I hear compressed air being released after a bump(i guess from the shock moving back into place). When I have them set stiffer they do not make the noise. They have less then 2k miles of use and I just want to assure it isnt doing any damage, doesnt feel blown or anything just the noise gets annoying. Thanks for any input guys/girls
Only on bumpy roads. Mainly after the bump and the car is settling back down that it makes the noise. Not at all on turns. To me it sounds just like air being released or compressed after the shock expands. Its weird and never had any coilovers do that before
