ordering new bilstein struts but have a question about installation.

would I need to order any hardware or bolts for this installation? I just want to make sure everything goes smoothly and not deal with any sudden headaches.

if you still have the hats then you shouldn't need anything.... the strut comes pretty complete...

why you getting new ones? you know bilstein rebuilds struts... unless you are currently sitting on kyb's...

also don't get oem struts. buy biltein HD's not only do they perform better then oem but they cost like 1/4 as much...
hope this has been helpful

If you go to bilstein usa's site then they have all the info... I sent mine to the shop in cali... Make sure you fill out and include the rebuild sheet

Only problem you may run into is the seized camber bolts on the front. Also, the camber bolts can only go in two positions (-1* or -2* of camber) , so remember the orientation before you remove them.

Like above post, check their site. I believe there's a Bilstein in NC also rebuilds. You can request for HD specs, or any spec you want.

Make sure the hole in the top hat lines up with the hole in the bottom dish of the strut or your springs will pop and bang and u gotta do everything over again. Check out the hotchkis spring install its very complete

so, you think I'd be better off ordering a new set of oem camber bolts just in case? anyone have the part # for the front passenger side camber bolts?

You could just loosen the bolts first and see if it comes out easily before attempting the entire swap. I helped a friend swap his setup out today. After 100k miles, his cam out with no issues. It's kinda random I guess, but its better to expect the worst.
