Knocking noise-HKS Hypermax II

I'm hearing a knocking noise from my front coilovers.Is this normal.Somebody told me to put rubber inserts in between the spring and stopper...he had the same noise.

Only when i drive really slow and turn....

have similar knocking noice but on straight bumpy roads as well, thinkig it's pillow ball mount

Have you checked your spring pre load? IF the Spring can move than it might make noise.

i been chasing this problem for a year. i replaced sway bar bushes, endlinks, re lubed the struts.. last week tightened top nut and lubed struts again, but have a feeling it may come back, although it has gone for now......
when i rock the car from front radiator support can hear from top.. try to find where the noise is coming from (general area) before buying parts. also try tightening all bolts n nuts.

if it comes back i think its my top struts/insulators, plenty of threads on this topic lol

When the bushing inside the shock goes bad, it will clunk also. Grab the shock and try to shake it. If there are slightly movement, it could be causing your clunk...assuming nothing else is also bad.

I've decided to return the coilovers and getting a refund.Going to buy brand new BC racing coilovers.
