Do you guys reckon there will be much notable handling improvement (for street spirited driving) if I go for PSS9 over the Bilstein HD +Spec R springs set up ?

Thanks

Their will be a huge difference in ride comfort to go along with the handling improvement. The dampers in the PSS9s aren't the greatest and I've only heard bad things from Porsche shock builders about the adjustment valve.

Id rather run AST4100s or AMR coilovers than the PSS9s.

I haven't seen anyone give a consistent review of PSS9s much less anyone who has actually run on them along with Ohlins, ASTs or KWs. You can google them and look up reviews from other vehicles. Not very many Evos run them.

I can't even compare them to the MR Bilsteins since I did all of my other suspension modifications at the same time as the coilovers along with a lower profile/much wider tire...

They are only $125 a corner for a rebuild/revalve and you can get them valved any way you want through Bilstein US. Last I heard, Ohlins were $250 to get revalved through Ohlins. So, get your spring rate right the first time if you get Ohlins.

Personally, valving on full bypass for street driving is fairly soft but I still feel every line in the interstate (note: full set of poly bushings, Perrin PSRS, Whiteline, RCA, Megan rear toe arm which uses a spherical bushing, Ciro Caster/Camber paltes which use a spherical bushing on top and 285/30/18 lower profile tires). I have the fronts with increased rebound&compression per adjustment over nomal valving with an additional increase in compression over rebound per adjustment. During tracking, I have front on no bypass and rears dialed back a little. I really prefer running with the rear of the car settling and the car pushing a little than it being squirley in the back (note: upgraded rear diff plates). I tried with the rear on full but I didn't like how it felt and dialed it back down.

I am running KW clubsports! Great for track or street, I would recommend taking a look at KW variant 1 if you are looking for just great street performance, alot easier on the wallet as well.
