Cross member help

Hey guys, I bought a 2006 evo mr edition about 2 weeks ago and it is a rebuilt title. I obviously knew going into this that it would have some issues and that doesnt bother me. My question is, when putting my car on a lift my buddy noticed that I had 3 shims in between my cross member and frame. The passenger tire seems to be at a normal distance for wheel gap from the tire and fender; however the driver side is closer to the fender and you can easily tell by looking at it. So I need to know exactly what a normal cross member looks like so I can compare and figure out what to do with mine. Any help and ppictures I will be very grateful for. Also, whats odd is that the car pulls to the right a little bit and the passenger side is normal gap... If anyone can shed light, id much appreciate that as well. All alightment is in spec as well.
