good reading!! thinking about changing my springs around now from 12k front 10k rear to
10k-F and 12k-R. still though why wouldn't you want to get the heavier spring up front where the car is heavier and more pressure coming down on it say when braking etc. I new to the suspension game so sorry if question seems weak just trying to learn!

Wheel rate is simply spring rate * ( motion ratio squared). Assuming the Front MR is ~0.91 and rear is 0.73 (an average along the arc, my measurements), then here's the wheel rates.
If you ran 12k/10k - front = 9.9, rear = 5.3.
Switching to 10k/12k - front = 8.3, rear = 6.4
Natural frequencies are a way to understand the balance of the spring to mass ratio and also compare against other cars, but to simply look at the ratio of balance f/r you can see the 10k/12k is closer to a balanced car in regards to stiffness with a little extra bias towards rear stiffness.

ahhh whabaki. makes sense now. I've made quite a few changes suspension wise to the car now and haven't been able to drive it yet but im going to try it first with the 12k fornt and 10k rear just to get a feel for it then swap them around just so i can get a better act/feeling of the car cause who knows how its gonna feel with all the changes now and i hate to change to much at once! thanks for the info though for sure gonna be swapping them around at some point!

Because every after marked coilover set has either matching spring rates front to back or higher spring rates in front.
But all the after market spring only replacements have a higher rate in the rear.

spring rate for tein type flex coilovers? I'm not sure if the list is outdated, but from what I found it was this
Tein Flex:.................504lbs(9.0K).....448lbs(8.0K )....Adjustable
but then I found this, "i've called tein and they said the spring rates for tein flex is 12kg/10kg."

I think that there may be a small error in the Swift spring description in the Spring Rate Chart thread. In the thread, you have, "MR differences: Rear MR springs are 3-4mm higher than the GSR versions. Reason is for the increase pressure the Bilsteins have."
If the Bilsteins have higher gas pressure and the goal was to have the same drop with KYB and MR Bilstein Evos, then it would make more sense if the MR springs where 3-4 mm shorter rather than higher.
