Zerk Fittings Question

So I'm going to be swapping out several stock bushings with poly bushings. I've never installed zerk fittings before so I was hoping to get some clarification as to their installation. Should I be drilling through the arm and the bushing so that grease gets to the center? I believe the answer is yes but I would love to hear from someone that has done this in the past before I go destroying perfectly good parts. Thanks!

Great to hear. Thanks. It's not a job I'm looking forward to but I've gotta get it done one of these days.
