Staggered?

Hey guys, I have some 18" volk ce28s left from my other whip but they are staggered. they are 9" front +15 and 10" rear +18. Is it too agressive for the eve 9s?

It's a matter of them being staggered, not too aggressive.

Evo drivetrain was not built for staggered wheels, sell one pair of these and buy a matching pair so you have 4 wheels of the same diameter and width and 4 tires of the same sizes

offset doesnt matter if it's different on the front and rear

IMO, Both wheels are a no go for proper fitment on a stock body EVO. 18x10 +18 will not fit in the rear. The +15 is also too aggressive for the rear

Once again, it's all about rolling diameter, not wheel width. If you run the same size tire all around theoretically it will be fine. I ran 18x11 +5 front, 18x10 +33 with 285/30/18s for years, street, track, and autocross. The only downside was rotating tires, as I had to dismount/mount every time I wanted to. Running wider wheels and/or track in the rear is counterproductive to getting these cars to handle better though.

I'm just talking about staggered wheels though. I doubt the combo you listed will fit without some work. 18x9+15 will probably work in the front, but 18x10 +18 will NOT work in the rear. I'd just sell them and get something else.

Different width wheels with same width tire will produce a different height/diameter/circumference. Since the the tire is stretched more on the wider wheel, the sidewall is at more of an angle, so unless the sidewall magically gets longer, the tire will be shorter...

Yeah...but the difference is going to be minuscule. It's probably not the best idea for a street car, but it also won't grenade your drivetrain (again, assuming same tire size).

ive been told running a staggered setup can mess up your drivetrain, but really depends on your tires and how you drive the car
