Ouch! A hole in the wheel...

So I ran over something on the interstate the other day and I've never had something quite like this happened to me before. Whatever it was it went through the tire and punctured a hole through my wheel.

I probably know the answer already but I could be wrong. Can it be repaired?

I'm not thoroughly interested in your story just yet....add to it and post some pics of the hole in your wheel...or do you mean tire? I've cracked wheels before but never put a hole in one of them.

Not quite the thread grabber I was hoping for...oh well.

I'm on mobile and it's a bit hard to navigate and post a pic. I'll give it a try.

Not only that but it also chipped a piece off my rotor!! My friends been joking I've been shot at. Lol

If anyone got a spare SE BBS Diamond Black wheel they are trying to get rid of. I'll gladly buy it from you.

My 3yo tried to help me with the car once. At the end of the day I checked over and found a socket lodged between the brakes caliper and the wheel. Hope you didn't have such a helper! :}

It's possible.. I didn't really see anything on the road. All I heard was *POP* and by the time I limped across 3 lanes of traffic to the shoulder to change the tire I didn't see anything.

Lol, good thing you caught it before you went driving! My niece once stuck a piece of tape over the ignition key hole trying to pull a prank on me thinking I wouldn't be able to insert my key. Lo and behold I stuck the key in and the tape got jammed up in there. The car wouldn't start and it took me hours to get it out.
