BBS MR SE alternative

Hey guys and thanks for looking. Don't flame on me! With that being said...

I LOVE the finish on BBS MR SE wheels but as you all know, they're hard to come by. I own BBS MR grey wheels and i'd like to spray them silver like the SE version. A dead-on match would be awesome but i'd settle for anything close looking. I'm not trying to sell these or pass them off as 'SE' wheels, I just want that OEM clean bright silver look to compliment my white Evo IX, and its strictly for personal preference. Let's try keeping this post constructive.

Anybody have experience with this? Any paint recommendations? I promised myself i'd stay away from rattle cans but i'm done with this charcoal color and looking for SE wheels.

Thanks in advanced! Cheers!

Powdercoat with black chrome. Should be a close match.

that's the only black chrome that i found on google images that even resembles the SE wheels; everything else is basically "shiny black"

Your best bet is to reach out to some paint/ powder coat shops and see what they can do for you. I was watching Wheeler Dealers last week and they actually did a similar paint scheme on some wheels.

That black chrome affect is achieved by painting them with a black base coat and then using some sort of silver as the top coat. That's what gives it the black chrome look.

Thanks everyone! Black chrome powder coat looks amazing! I'm going to go ahead and get them powder coated when I have some extra cash, I have a friend in the business who can take care of me. But for now, I'd like to save a few bucks and rattle can them until I'm able to get them powder coated.
