18x10 +12

Long story short, didn't fully do my research and now regret it very much so.
Just bought some xxr 521 18x10 +12.

Although im very much satisfied with the wheel itself, im not to happy with the offset i chose. After some researching, i found that a lot of other evo owners are running 25+ offset or something along that line.

My question is, should i bite the bullet and pay the restocking/shipping fee or is there a way to mount these wheels without to much work. Anybody else running these wheels spec and offset. If so, post pics please.

Bottom line you buy the parts to make yourself happy. I can't bring myself to pay money for something that isn't exactly what I want. The resale value on XXRs is very low, so in that case I would personally return them, pay the fees, and get the offset you desire

The wheel spec has 2 strikes against it / 10" wide combined w/the +12 offset

+12 will not fit correctly in the rear. Pay the restocking fee or sell them IMHO

Pay the fee and return... That 1/2" difference in offset which is a lot!

You could always try to sell them locally to avoid the restocking fee, but trust me you want to make sure the wheel fits properly over everything. Safety first man.

thinking private resale will likely be 1/2 of retail price that he paid... and restocking fee is 15-25% unless it was special order... then it maybe 35%.

You would have to do major body work to the rear quarter panel like overfenders and stuff there's no way you would fit those wheels unless you raise your car.
