I didn't ask, but I was led to believe they will revalve Clubsports and better, and rebuild any of them.

Ah interesting
So that pretty much mean you need to buy a Clubsport or above

If you don't like the stock spring rates, yes. My v3s were valved 8f/6r. WTF am going to do with that? LOL
My front springs were compressing so much, the paint was missing from between the coils. V3= no bueno for motorsports without a revalve.

That point you toward the direction of Clubsport 2 way if revalve is an option or Robispec's KW
Or Ohlins DFV instead

Most likely. The v3 did have quite a bit of adjustment. It may be possible to make them run correctly with stiffer springs. I just didn't bother to try. Robi swears by them, still. His KWs are Clubsports, by the way.

Shock guru Guy Ankeny @ FRSport in SoCal, is now focusing on revalving Bisteins. Most Penske and SCCA guys have known of him for years. They also have a new Rohrig shock dyno.

I love FRSport! I bought so much 240SX crap from them back before I traded for the Evo.

I'll have to call to speak with him, thanks for that info!

Contacted FEAL this week and they no longer do re-valves for the MR Bilsteins. They did say that they can now re-valve the non-MR struts (KYBs?). They do not offer the service for rears.

Super happy I just bought a spare set of MR stuff to send out for a re-valve. :/

You might want to contact FRSport and see what they can do. There is also Fat Cat Motorsport in Northern, CA. They are recommended by GT Worx. Look through this thread and see when the OP gives his update.

Contacted Fat Cat over the weekend. They got back to my questions right away, but for my particular project they ended up being too expensive. Sounds like some trick stuff that would be beneficial for people who are required to run OEM shocks, but it runs $1200-1600 for the revalve depending on options.

I was just looking to get my stuff softened up for dailydriver duty since I live on a dirt road and I'm approaching old fart stage where I want my daily to be comfortable. Now considering the FEAL 441 long travel stuff and selling the MR + Swift combo to recoup some of that outlay.

Dave,

FRSport is about 1/2 that much. Guy has probably valved more national championship winning cars than anyone, except Lee Grimes of Koni. Their 2015 DS winning WRX has his Bilsteins. He is adamant about having a supple ride over bumps for traction, so I'm sure he can help you.
