Bilstein No Longer Revalving

Just wanted to let everyone know that Bilstein is no longer revalving O.E. Evo dampers. I sent mine out for a rebuild and to have them revalved to my Spec-Rs and they told me that they are still rebuilding them, but no longer revalving them.

Just a heads up if anyone was going to ship theirs off for a revalve, since I know there are a few other places that do it besides Bilstein US.

A little behind in production of most items right now due to great demand in other areas of their business. Hopefully they will start revalving again once things settle down.

I think that may be a trend as Bilstein are no longer offering some specially valved product from the factory in Germany - individual re-sellers still do however in that case as well.

I sent my Bilstein strut out to Performance Shock to get rebuilt and they can re-valve them too(I think).

When I called Bilstein, they said they will rebuild O.E Evo struts, but won't revalve them since they offer an aftermarket coilover(PSS9?) for the evo.

How much is rebuilding/revolving vs. Buying a new set?

Had ps9s rebuilt and had to order some perches. Took an a really long time, Nice enough people and as helpful as they could be, but not a real fun or predictable experience and ultimately they sent the wrong (and expensive) perches. US/German operations do not seem well integrated. Would not bother next time.

Oh hey Chu- welcome back bud!

Yeah listen to the man, he knows what's up. Performance shock can revalve them. That'd be where I'd send em if it were me.

What a great excuse to launch a raid on my own bank account for an Ohlins or JRZ coilover set...
