Wheel Fitment

Hey guys I hope you guys are having a great day or night. I just need some advice with some new wheels I am going to get. I am going to be getting some Enkei Raijin 18in/8.5in for my 05 Evo 8. What I really wanna know is...

Is it better to use stock tire size or should I run it with 255/40/17. I would like my tires to stretch just a bit because I like the look but not like those Honda guys :/. And if I run 255 would I rub? I am currently lowered on Cusco and I would like to camber it just a little bit.

Secondly, what size offset would I need to get if I don't want to run spacers? 35mm or 38mm or something different.

Thanks for the upcoming opinion guys, I really appreciate it.

Heres a post of a +35 wheel w/20mm spacers up front & 15mm in the rear. Here is his quote regarding rear fit.

See post 894 & read from there

You may want to consider this wheel in the +35 & the 9.5" width & run the 255/35/18. You will likely need a light rear fender roll (forget the spacer as noted above)

A front spacer is likely needed to clear the Brembos
