CE28RT Burning Red

Fitment question:

I have an IX MR SE (or with appearance package) and am currently riding on stock ride height. Just now getting into the wheel game, and was looking to pick up some CE28RT Burning Reds 18x9.5 +24 fitted with some 255/35/18 tires. Later down the line, I'll be lowering the car on some Swift Spec R springs. Will I have fitment issues at either stock ride height or when lowered? Going with the +24 offset because the spokes have a more aggressive look as compared to the +38, or at least that's what I've been reading. Also, will I need spacers?

Kinda off topic:

This is the first set of rims they've done in red in quite a long time (last were the black/white time attack rims with the red lip). How often does Volk release new rims in the CE28 style? Just curious if I should wait for the new style (if there is a estimated release date) or if I should just go with these? Black time attack rims were my first choice, but those are near impossible to get now.

Thanks in advance everyone!

For sure you will have fitment issues in the rear

This spec (18x9.5 +24 w/255/35) is a bit on the extreme in the way of offset. Dont get me wrong, its very doable but you are looking at the full rear fender treatment (roll, pull & likely the bumper bolt relocate)

Not sure about the spacer issue, but Volk is usually very caliper friendly. You should search around for others that are running this wheel

I'm having a hell of a time getting someone to take a picture showing 435mm+ BBK clearance on volks or any other wheel in 18 for that matter.

Will I have the fitment issues even on stock ride height? Do you recommend I get my fenders done before putting on the wheels?

Yes, tire into rear fender possible if you hit a big compression on stock ride height. Be very carefull as you could not only damage your tires but rear fender damage possible

No, The wheels & fender work should be done at the same time. No way to treat the rear fenders w/out having the wheel pkg installed & measured, especially on a +24
