I've taken days looking into this.. i'm going insane so i'm swallowing my pride and asking for help.
I'm not a stance nation person, I don't like the stock monster truck evo 9.
I have my second WW evo 9 coming this weekend and i've been looking into getting some rim's and tires for her as i've never bothered before.
I have been looking at the concave concepts. also d2 coils (different subject but if anyone has recommendations for no more than 1,200 shipped please chime in.)
These wheels come in 15, 20, 35 or 38 for offset.
Stud pattern 5x100 and 5x114.3
I am looking at getting the 18x9.5, I have NO idea what offset to get to fit the OEM brembos. I know the stock BBS are 17x8 with 38 offset. Naturally I figured it'd be 38 offset also to fit the brembos for the concave concepts. I do not know. I also don't know if I need to roll my fenders slightly (assuming I do)
I used an offset calculator and came up with these numbers
Left is stock, right is new ones. an extra 20mm Poke and Inset seems like quite a lot.
I'm looking for tasteful, functional stance. If anyone has any info on any of these thins I would GREATLY appreciate it.

+35 offset, roll the rear fender flat, and you can run a front spacer to fill the front fender better. Use a 265/35r18 tire. I have this fitment on my car, it looks awesome.
Whats fitted on that EVO looks like +15 & if it was fitted w/a proper tire & some in range camber it would not fit w/out rub
As noted, +35 is really a modest offset that will allow you to run a wide tire & proper camber & will not rub if clearanced correctly
Thats what im going for is the above picture, I will try +15 offset. What tires would you say its running? i figured 235 maybe 245 but I could be wrong entirely.

+38 or +35 is what you want if they can clear stock brake
245/40/18 or 255/35/18 or 265/35/18 will fit

We are trying to let you know that +15 does not work well. Its way to aggressive. The guys who run it use a tire not specified for that rim width (super stretch. 245 is minimum width allowed on a 9.5") & they run out of spec camber.
The rear fender work required would not be pleasing to the eye

How much fender rolling did you have to do? Worried about going overboard with that. Im literally trying to replicate the picture above even though its kinda taboo.

work required to fit +15 wouldnt be? or +35, trying to avoid rolling a whole lot. I dont mind a little but once again just going for tasteful stance.
The issues is that, in order to clear the front brembo's you need a rather aggressive offset (15mm-22mm is typical, but it depends on the wheel design).
In the rear, the brembos aren't nearly as large, so you can get away with running a less aggressive offset (30mm, 38mm etc) without having to worry about brake fitment issues.
So if you want to run a "square" set up, with no spacers, you'll need something like 18x9.5 +15mm -> +22mm (again, depends on the wheel) with a 245/255 tire and EXTENSIVE work in the rear. (rolling, pulling, bumper bolt relocation, removed fender liners, hammered pinched welds) and only a little work in the front (roll/mild evo dave fender mod).
Or you can run a less aggressive offset (say +38) and the fitment will be much better in the rear and it won't require a much work, maybe just a roll and bumper tab relocation. But you'll need extended studs/ spacers in the front (+20 - +25 mm spacer) in order to clear the brembos. This will also allow you to have wider tires, (max 265 if you really want to).
I wouldn't recommend ordering two +15 and two +38 offset wheels because it makes it difficult to rotate wheels properly.
As far as I'm concerned you have 2 options:
1.PROPER FITMENT BRO
18x9.5 +35 255/35/18 with a 20mm spacer up front and extended studs w/ -1.5 -> -2 degrees of camber. Roll the fronts/rears, maybe a little more work depending on how low you go.
2. STANCE BRO
18x9.5 +15 245/35/18, no spacers, -2 -> -3+ degrees of camber, and extensive fender work as discussed earlier.
There tends to be a large circle jerk of anti-stance on this forum, and I see where it comes from. The choice on your wheels is ultimately up to you, regardless of what other people say. Understand what each of the different set-ups offer and what you are going to need to do in order to make each different set-up work on your car.

Thank you for explaining all of this! Much appreciated. I will be going with +35 and the spacer. I understand all the hate against stance also as a lot of it can be way overdone and it just becomes a joke after a while, i'm just looking to get less monster truck and get some rims ive always wanted with barely any strech. Once again thanks man!
Not going to get much concave at +35 sorry bro. There in lies the stance nation issue. I've gone 18x10 +25 but I got BBK to clear the fronts and still alot of work to make it all functional with concave.

Is it just me or is this car very difficult to work with for fitment

Some wheels retain the same face at all offset, OP would have to tell us what wheel he's talking about and we can see if the concavity changes depending on the offset.

This is pure nonsense & is a Stance recipe Nobody runs a properly fitted +15 on a stock body EVO. No amount of professional body work would ever make this acceptable aside from over-fenders. Suggesting body work & running out of spec camber does not fit in this forum section
