What anti sway bars are you using??

Hey guys I'm looking into getting some new sway bars for my evo 8. been shopping around and not sure what I want to get yet. figured I would ask to see what other people are running on there cars and what you all think. I already have Tein flex Z coilovers on the way for the car but want to do a couple more things for the suspension before the next SCCA event. Any feed back would be appreciated.

One of the more popular specs is: Whiteline 24mm rear sway bar

The fronts should stay stock unless you are going to a full race set-up, then, stay stock & use an adjustable lower bracket (soft, med, hard) & use adj end links as well

Thats what I run

i saw the white line stuff and i was looking at st suspension they have a front and rear combo. The front sway bar on the evo can take that much abuse? would going to 24mm be better then just getting a solid 22mm?

The 24mm bar is really all you need unless youre going w/a very aggressive track suspension build. The rear bar stiffness combines w/your suspension coil rate, so going hard w/both is a performance negative

The stock front bar works very well for what you are describing. Most hard core track guys, as well as Robi / Mueller recommend the stock FSB for most all applications, including race. There are guys who swear by uprating the FSB, but their opinions are lacking IMO

I just ordered the ST Suspension RSB and it's 25mm adjustable. When I do the install I intend on using soft setting. I just got my coilovers installed running 10k F 12k R. The RSB is the last part of my build for my EVO and I have been going back and forth on which to go with. All EVO owners I autocross with run the Whiteline 24mm rear sway bar. Non of these other EVOs have spring setup like I do, they all range between 8k-9k from what I've found out.

I like your set-up & think you have made a good choice. I run a 10k/12k as well & Im set at the soft RSB setting as well

here I was thinking the 10k/8k Tein flex z coilovers where going to be stiff enough. I think ima end up running the 24mm in the rear and leave the stock front for now.

Certainly cant use those rates (they are backwards). 8K/10K Yes, but not the other way.

Get some Fortune Auto 500's. You cant go wrong w/the WL24mm bar
