Coil over recomendation wanted for a DD Evo7

Stock shocks finally died and coilovers seem to be cheaper. What would be recommend coilover and spring rate for very occasional "spirted" driving on a daily driver? I'm pretty sure 12Kg/16Kg would be a waste on Donlop DZ102 on horrible 3rd world roads.

Thanks in advance.

Look into Fortune Autos. Many of us run them, including myself

If youre just streeting your EvO, consider the 500 series at a spring rate of 8k / 10K

Ive had a lot of levels of suspension, arguably more than 99.9% of evo owners. For a DD, the Bilstein/GTworks setup with a med/big rear bar was the best.

+1 on the Fortune Auto 500 Series. IMHO I think FA's are the best performing coilover setup on the market under $1800+ for any platform. I don't have them on my Evo yet but I did have them on my s2000 and they were amazing. Rides similar to stock comfort with less body roll on soft setting but track worthy when stiffened up. Excellent build quality & adjustability, custom rates & valving available, made in USA and they even come with a graph showing the testing results of your coilovers before shipping them out.

This. Particularly since the stock setup IMO tends to last longer on rough roads than even some of the pricier coilovers.

I have Bilstein B16 PSS9's on my evo 9. I couldn't be happier. They ride great. Plenty of adjustment options. If you shop around you can find the kit for under $2k
