Wheel spacers

So I just got some BC coils, but before I install them I want to purchase wheel spacers. I'm looking at some on stm and they have 15mm or 20mm. Any of you guys have pictures or have purchased spacers before? Thanks in advanced! Follow me on IG @hitomigee if anyone wants to see after pics

Many members run spacers to overcome wheel interference w/the front Brembos. Most of us would recommend only running spacers when needed to clear the Brembos.

Also, only run the minimum spacer needed

I would recommend buying the package that STM sells if you want to run wheel spacers. You will have to remove the old wheel studs and install the ARP studs.

What are your wheel specs? I run 15mm spacers on stock wheels and it improves the look. Let's check to see if the wheels are going to stick out.

Heres a good thread to read. Heres a pic of the slip on spacer used. Motorsport Tech is the vendor used in this case
They can make any size needed & they dont cost too much

Heres the vendors website: http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

Nice! Cheaper than STM. Question, I didn't see this on the thread. I am aware that I will have to purchase extended studs and also get open ended lug nuts? I still have my stock wheels, but I read on STM that they should not be used on stock wheels. Correct?

Yeah, you cant use those lugs on stock wheels. They have the conical base, unlike the OEM wheels

You can use the Toyota style lugs like this here:

I have my own style of wheel spacers I make that are pretty much all just one off things. Not as cheap as some of the options posted above, but I build them to what ever spec is right for you. Mostly I just wanted to make my own spacers that were light weight and integrated with the hubcentric ring. That makes them specific for each of my wheels but of course I make them so to me its NBD.

I did 10 sets of them for a GTR buddy and hard anodized them, these turned out really cool.

Anything over 5mm spacers and you should run extended studs. I just bought some cheap spacers off eBay and some arp extended wheel studs. I also trimmed off the non-threaded nipple part at the end of each arp wheel stud so I could use closed lug nuts still. Without trimming the closed lug nuts would bottom out before being fully tightened

Thats incorrect. Run the necessary spacer needed. There is no difference between say a +50 offset with 50mm spacer and 0 offset when it comes to loading.

Being able to rotate tires is absolutely more important on our cars than minimum spacer.

I purchased these off ebay and i must admit that I was really impressed with the quality of them. I only run them on the fronts however.
