Coil overs

The WL RCK only corrects about 5mm. While some is better than nothing, I certainly wouldnt put a lot of priority in it. I would say one thing it can help with is bump steer if you add caster. If you have some offset top hats or control arm bushings, using just the WL ball joint without the tie rod helps.

Really? Ohlins come in at $2300+ and the FA 500 are $1350 and lack nothing compared to the Ohlins. Pretty big difference in price with probably no noticeable difference in performance.

I’ve driven and ridden in a few coilovered cars and I must say the Ohlins are IMO the best track/street setup, hands down!

Adding all of those options mean your probably getting a superior coilover (FA500) at similar price. Lets not forget that FA will custom spec valving and spring rates per application for free.

Good question. I know both are high quality but FA is very transparent and informative about all of their tech and testing on their website. Cant really say the same for Ohlins. All I know is that I've been very impressed with FA 500 on an s2k and a c5 z06 that I used to own.

If you step back & look at what FA has done, you really have to appreciate the business paradigm
- Offer custom builds per customer spec (valving, spring rates & high level springs)
- Customer service, anytime, over the phone
- Rebuild / upgrade services
- Offer a product line that is competitive with other high level suspension manufacturers
- Continue to upgrade the product line

I only recommend Ohlins over FA in this thread because he asked for an all-around performer. If FA can figure out how to match Ohlins in the "comfort" category, it would be a no-brainer. Until then..

As for the guy saying Ohlins are $2300. Contact Performance Shock for your best price. Like I said in my first comment on this page.
When I ordered my Ohlins, I paid just north of $2300, that was with 12k rear springs and revalving the rear shocks. They can be had for <$2k if you don't purchase springs and/or have them revalved.
And no, you will NOT have a "higher quality" coilover by getting an "optioned out" FA500 over the Ohlins.
Save your pesos, buy once, cry once.
