Need Brake Hose

Mechanic stripped the female fitting where metal brake line meets the rubber hose that runs to the rear drivers side caliper. Had complete brake failure this weekend. Was able to stop car by downshifting and e-brake. I suspect OEM brake hose that needs replacement is difficult to find. My apologies for not searching, but it is difficult to do on small iPhone screen. Supposed to be relocating today, but that is not happening. Anyone have suggestions for sourcing 2003 Evo 8 brake hoses?

You can get a full set of stainless lines for ~$125. Good idea to replace the ancient rubber lines at this point.

I agree! The above was for a SS line... got a set of (3) from a fellow member here and had to get the last one to complete the install.

Turns out the mechanic assigned to work on my car has an 800 hp Evo, and he upgraded brake lines at lest twice. He had a set at home in a box he brought in with him Sunday AM. Car was done in a couple of hours, and finished my 1050 mile relo drive this morning. Much easier I am certain with functioning brakes.
