Staggered tires

Ok so this is prolly a dumb question but I’m kinda in a pinch here. I had a blow out on the passenger front right side. And the tires I have on now are currently 225/45/18 . I have 2 brand new tires that are 245/45/18. How bad would it be if I put those in front. It would save me about 300 bucks if I was able to do this. Thanks in advance.

It'll save you $300 now, and cost you thousands in very short time. Just don't do it.

Yeah, one might think theres not that much of a diff between a 225/45 & a 245/45. The 245 is actually .70" taller in dia.

Dont know the diff in revs per mile buts its a big diff & the drivetrain would not be happy

Even a new tire, of the same size, vs a worn tire is not recommended!
