Why staggered? I thought Evo should have all 4 the exact same size.

i was asking because I wanted to try and get away with no rear arch work. It seems that this was a bad idea so I have ordered the wheels all in the same size. I’m going to roll the rear and play with the ride height first, if that doesn’t work I now know a few more tricks. I thought going +22 front and +35/38 rear would save me from having issues but as I stated it would of been more detrimental than putting in some work for the rear fenders.

Ok. For 9.5j with 255 tires, should not go lower than et35 I think if you want minimal fuss for clearance. I previously used that exact same size and only required rear fender lip roll. This is assuming you run more friendly camber around only -1.5°. If you're ok to run more aggressive camber then you may be able to get away with et30.

Mine now is on 9j et21 same tire size and it always rub at the back if got passenger or a big dip on the road.

I’m not running any sort of rear camber arms just coilovers. I have found a guy here in the uk running bola B1 Rims in this exact size 18x9.5 ET30 and he claims no modifications to the rear arches. This is the problem I’m facing, some say they fit some say it needs lots of work. I’m 100% going to bare what you guys have told me but I’m getting the feeling that I’m just going to have to fit them to find out the answer.

Well that's the thing with trying fitment as close as possible to the limit. FYI the tire model also will play a factor despite being the same size! Because even with the same size the tread width can be quite different, hence with one model can clear then another model can rub even both same size. For example extreme category tires like AD08R is much more square with wider tread width than UHP category tires like PS4. A 245 width AD08R has almost the same tread width as a 255 width PS4. So if you fit AD08R your chance of rubbing is higher. Then some tires have no rim protector while others have which make the sidewall protrude a bit more also.

It's definitely doable, I ran similar setup with +30 on the front and +40 on the rear.

Quote: Hey guys, after days going through thread after thread looking for info I Decided to place a order for x2 18x9.5 ET22 and x2 18x9.5 ET38. I have 255/35/18 tyres to go on them so Im hoping they will fit. My rear arches are rolled and ready but my question is should I of ordered 18X9.5 ET30 for the rear or will ET38 be ok? Thanks
