Looking for fitment advice for TE37s

Whats up EvoM,
I’m in the market for some wheels. Looking at getting a set of Volk TE37 Saga 18x9.5 with a 30 offset. Will I need to make any modifications to make this work?
They also have a 22, and 31 offset, with the same size as above. Will those fit better with less fender work/spacers?
if you have pictures and know specs of a set on an evo, please post it. Thank you. 🤙🏽

Yeah, for sure rear fender work will be required running a 9.5" +30 wheel. I run the same wheel spec in 17"

Tire profile & width will have an affect!

Do you know if i’ll need spacers? I was planning on purchasing a fender roller already

There are some TE37's that fit w/out spacers but not sure about the 9.5 +30's.

18x9 +22 TE37SL Front hits the fender liner tab and rear still rubs with rolled and seam sealed fenders. Haven't made any adjustments yet. This is on 255's and no spacers.

I agree w/your comment on the fit of that 9" +22 wheel. Yeah, a rear roll is not enough to proper clear the rear w/a +22.

A 9.5" wheel would be just that much more difficult to clear

Very tough to fit correctly w/out rub (but they do look fantastic. +22 in a 9.5" wheel is very aggressive & looks fat). If youre looking for full clearance w/zero rub, expect the following:
  • Rear fender roll
  • Rear fender bumper bolt relocation
  • Rear fender pull
  • Rear camber setting at -1.8 or above

According to Rays catalog, you need 18x9.5+22 or 18x9.5+31 which is discontinued to clear CP9A/CT9A front Brembo 4 pot
18x9.5+30 have differennt face design from 18x9.5+31 and it does not clear the front brake
Alternatively you can get 18x9.5+30 and run 8mm spacer in front to clear the front brake so you don't lose the ability to rotate and have a more manageable rear fitment
If you can get 18x9.5+31, that will be the magic bullet and you do not have to run any spacer whatsoever yet have easier fitment at the expense of face concavity

I decided to go with the TE 37s saga in size 18x9.5 +22.

So I’m understanding that i’ll need to do a bolt relocation and a fender shave/roll?

Yeah, to fully clear, a rear fender roll, bumper bolt relocation as well as a slight rear fender pull will be needed to fully clear. (tire size will certainly play a roll in how much of each is needed)

Let me know what exact tire size & i will lay it out on the calculator & give you a better idea

Heres a pic of the bolt relocation technique

Awesome thank you! I’m going with 255/35/18 tires.

Here your spec vs mine. Your wheel will poke 8mm more than mine but your tyre is narrorwer & they kind of meet in the same spot

Bottom line is this: There have been guys running the +22 w/the 9.5" that only did the rear fender roll & maybe some serious rear camber setting & will comment that it works fine, w/maybe some rub on hard dips or when they carry passengers

My suggestion of doing the rear fender roll, bumper bolt relocation & the rear pull is for full clearance w/zero rub. Thats what i needed as i tracked my EvO for 5 years & rub is a no-go as im sure you understand

Any other questions, let me know. Hope this helps

Thanks man! I’ll try a roll and the bolt relocation
