Torque Thrust Wheels

I've always liked the wheels on the Bullit Mustang (5 thick spoke crinkle finish with a polished rim) I read somewhere that they fit the Evo. 17x8 5 lug and they are $145 each. They would make a good winter wheel. Anyone know for sure if they fit? Neal?

What do you think?

hehe.. Actually I think the bolt circle is right, but you need a 5.5" backspace for it to fit correctly..

They actually don't look bad, I remember a few cars having those wheels when I was younger.. 68 Camaro, Mustangs, etc..

It might be fun to run a set just to make the V8 guys cringe!

38mm is about 5.5" backspace.. Found a set of wheels that look just like the torquethrusts on www.discounttiredirect.com with 35 or 38mm

It is going to come down to the shape and contour of the spokes. Im the guy who ran Cobra R's on mine and I had buttloads of caliper clearance.
