Neovas are Advans. They're Advan AD07s and no, they're cheaper.

For what it is worth, I switched to the (much, much cheaper) Ecsta MX's after my stock Advans crapped out after 11,000 miles.

$91 a tire, they are a bargain. However, sidewall is noticeably less stiff and turn-in is less precise than the Advans. Water and snow traction was much better with the MX's, of course. (reason I bought them in the first place). Tire noise is also good and tread wear is great.

I've driven on a lot of very nice tires and the stock Advans are AMAZING. If money was no object, I would have nothing but the stock advans...they are an absolutely superior tire, not even the Toyos or Pirelli's I've had on my past cars even come close.

I thought about going that route (MX's) and I was really set on a set of T1-S... It was just kind of a last minute thing going with PS2's

Advans are awesome.. just right now they are around 230 a pop

I just want to make sure the falken azenis some of yall are talking about is the azenis sport and not the azenis st115. Sounds like the azenis are what I'll be replacing the worn advans for.

Got my PS2's today.. The sidewall seems pretty soft on them but I'm just judging by looking at them so who knows.. I'll have them on tomorrow and will post up some reviews after breaking them in.

I had the opportunity to run PS2 vs the stock Advan back to back on two consecutive days, same course, similar weather this past weekend.

235/45/17 PS2 on 8.5x17 Gram Light 57F
The PS2's are about three pounds lighter than the Advan. I ran this combo on Saturday. First time at the track in 9 years. Third time autocrossing ever. There were two other EVO's at the track. One was a very strong stock car 13.1 @ 104mph quarter and running Victo Racers. The other was a modified EVO running Advans. They both ran .1 of a second faster than me. Everyone seemed impressed with the times I turned on the PS2 and many people asked me what tires I was running. The tire is less responsive but traction is very close. Wet weather traction is excellent also. When heated up these seemed less greasy then the Advan.

235/45/17 Advan on stock 8x17 BBS rims
The Advan are a very responsive tire with good traction. I managed to run a faster laptime than a supercharged C6 with Hoosier R compound tires on Sunday. I had third fastest time of the day. Here is a list of the times. Autocross Solo 2, Winona MN Results Definitely a good tire. Not worth the extra money in my opinion though for street and auto x use unless you have money to burn. Here is a Video (80mb) of the stock tires in action.

The PS2 have slightly less traction but once you get used to the responsiveness they are a very comparable tire for less money. I would buy the PS2 again or switch to an R compound tire like the 710 for track only use if I had the money.

I would say they will last you a while if you managed to get 20k miles out of Advans.

Ok so I've got around 2-300 miles on the Michelin PS2's. I must say I'm extremely impressed with this tire. I don't know if it's because I've been on stock rims and snow tires for the past 6 months or what.

I dropped around 3lbs per tires + rays lugs + work emtions.. I'm guess 5-6lbs per corner. The sidewall in these tires isnt the hardest but when you hit a turn hard the grip is there. Otherwise they ride very smooth on pretty rough roads. I'm running 34psi front 33psi rear right now.

Ok I must sleep.. installed all new vacuum lines to my mbc and the hands are pretty cut up.

Ok about 800-1000 miles on the Michelin PS2's. I'm extremely happy with these tires! I was worried when I first saw the tires.. the tread on the sides looks a lil thin and the tires feel kind of flimsy.. but the grip is incredible.

Granted they don't have the super stiff feel of Advans.. but they grip nice.. are much more comfortable.. and are very quiet. So far I think these tires will run circles around the S-03's at least for my style of driving..

The only problem I've got right now is something feels a little out of balance at highway speeds. I have a very slight shake (just enough to notice) from 60mph to about 80mph. This might not be tire related since I've added a set of Work Emotions.. but I've had them balanced twice with no luck. The guy at the shop recommended some sort of "hub shim" to help absorb vibration but I don't know about that..

just my o2 please look over any spelling/grammar.. its late!
