so the stage 1 & 2 comes with camber plates in the front and no pillow ball tops for the rear, and then the stage 3 comes with camber plates in the front and pillow tops for the rear ... correct?

I like the idea of getting 2 sets of springs, that would make the extra cost worth it to me.

Is the stage 3 coil overs too pricy for us 'normal' guys?

Hey Steve,

We specifically developed these top mounts to fit the WORKS/Ohlins suspension. However, if you're interested in dialing in some more camber with the stock Evo suspension, we have another model that will fit that suspension as well.

The pricing for the stock version is $259 and $279 for the WORKS/Ohlins version.

With regard to the springs, yes, the Stage I springs are made by Ohlins. For our Stage II and Stage III springs, we source a variety of spring manufacturers (including H&R, Eibach and Hypercoils) depending on the needs of our customers (i.e. spring rates, lengths, etc).

Bumping an old thread. How often do the Ohlin shocks need to be rebuilt? I looked on their website and it should be inspected/serviced every 20-30km, which is roughly every 12-18k miles. Does this mean it needs to be rebuilt that often?

since this has been revived i will also ask a question. the springs on the stage 1 are for the r/t setup which is 4.4k/5.5k or 250/310? how much can u drop the back without needing the camber kit?

Do you mean camber plates? If so, camber plates do nothing on the rear of the EVO because it is multi link not macpherson strut suspension in the rear. Take a look at how your shock/spring is attached at the lower point and you will see what I mean.

A rebuild would depend a lot on what type of driving is being done with the car. A track-only car could need a rebuild in a few months whereas a daily-driver could go a few years. Inspection at the above interval would be a good idea and base the rebuild option on it.

Earlier you mentioned having up to 10kg springs. Can your source stiffer springs then this? The set up I was looking at (GAB Prosso) has 12kg all around with daul springs. Anything like this possible from WORKS?

Yes, we've run as high as 13Kg springs. This comes close to the limits of the valving without being reworked, but well within the realm of possibility.

Can the same rebuild times be applied towards the Zeals? I looked on their website and it said the shocks needed to be rebuilt every 12-15k miles. I can rack up 12-15k miles in half a year if I drove my EVO everyday. Also, what is the turn-around time for rebuilds?
