Kartboy Shifters!!!

The kartboy short throw shift lever for the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO Provides a reduced height and throw vs. the stock lever. This CNC machined, 4130 Cr-Mo Steel lever, electroplated black, reduces shift throw by 25% and lowers the shift knob by 10mm". While not a dramatic change from the comparatively short, stock system, the lever provides a more sporting feel, without the need to grind out pieces of plastic in the mouting frame. Available alone, or with a kartboy knob.
Made in USA

Sounds good! How hard is the installation for this compared to others?

install is pretty easy. you will need to get a new plastic cup for the top of the shifter basket. or cut the OE shfiter to reuse that one.
we hope to offer the plastic cup on our website soon. or you can get one from your local dealer.

i'll try and get a install page up soon. but you can also look at the B&M install page on the forums. NOT the Perrin one.

How is a person supposed to choose colors if they don't even know what part of the item you're talking about? I would be interested but it's hard to make decisions without examples.

No need to apologize and yes it is about the parts....but seriously, nobody is going to pick an item blindly that is completely visible to everyone when they look in or sit in the car. Just consider my post a friendly reminder that pics would help.

When you guys get the plastic cup in, thats when i'll buy. I don't want to cut the OE shifter.

But you will eventually get them right? After that that its a pretty easy install. I want to get metal bushings too and do it all at the same time

yes we were hoping to get them the other day.

the part number is MR 246296 if you want to see if your local dealer has them in stock. were just going to sell them for what we pay. just to make it easier for some of the customers
