Edit: Didnt notice the boost on the dyno sheet.

Scott was this on race gas or 93 oct? That is some sick torque right there wow!! If this was on pump gas, any signs of knock?

It is a "SHOW ALL" option on the dynosheet that we use when displaying boost, ignition timing, coolant temps etc or in order to just get both peak numbers displayed on the same sheet.

The changes in parts consist of a Forge Evo X wastegate actuator, TTP-Engineering prototype downpipe, crushed stock Evo BOV, ZCHIP for Evo X, ECU controlled boost, TTP MIVEC custom mapping intake/exhaust. HFS5.

There is no longer an aftermarket boost controller on the car.

The car spiked 30psi and tapered to 16.5psi with the stock intake filter. With the filter removed it spiked 30 and tapered to 17psi.

The removal of the filter from the stock airbox added 8-10whp at 30psi. It is likely worth even less power at lower boost levels. We plan to thrown a low restriction dry drop in filter to replace the stock filter.

Come on !!! You definitely can control the boost better than that !!
Mivec definitely can be improved though ...
I'm quite sure if you increase to 21psi you'd be beyond 420??

Merry Christmas guys.. take a break ..

I personally think the boost mapping is 100% as good as its going to get the way the car is set up now. We tried MANY variations in boost pills and custom bleeders which would only set it too high or too low for our liking. Many hours has gone into boost tuning alone between pills, wga's, preloads and line changes, map changes.

FYI. The new hotwire maf doesn't like "choppy" airflow. I've found a filter makes more power than no filter. I'll upload the graphs and logs next week when I am back in town.

Most of the drop-in's I've seen are oiled. What choices in dry, low-restriction are there?

HKS makes dry filters, Amsoil has dry cones, not sure if they have dry panel filters.

From the HKS website:

"Super Filters feature the same 2-layer wet-type, polyurethane material as in the Super Mega Flow."

I assume "wet-type" means oiled. Perhaps they have another drop-in filter, but it doesn't pop up on their website. Do you have a source or part number?

5000rpm flat top power .. that is going to be 1 mean street car .. a very nice AutoX car
I bet the 16psi is the flow limit of the turbo at 7500rpms .. its only a 152G .. the 2nd smallest of all the TD05's .. (smallest being the 15GK2 from the TME 6.5 series)

WAM.. HKS filter is dry use and throw type ..what you quote is the older 2 layer type .. which doesn't filter as good as the newer 3 layer type..

+1 also on this. Scotts car just blew me away tonight on how fast that thing is! This is the most powerful stock turbo Evo X with minor mods ive ever been in That thing will easily run 11s all day back to back. Scotts Evo X would beat my Evo IX that ran 11.7 all day...Cant wait to see this thing at the track
