So is it safe to have the intake, ic pipes, fmic, mbc, exhaust on ur car without a tune?? I mean if I get those mods I won't have any money for a tune.. Will my car be fine?

We have been driving our car with no tune for months now. No problems at all. It's recommend to have a tune to get all the power and mainly torque out of the setup. We just recently installed a 35R, still with no tune. That should be done this weekend!

Thanks,

Michael

We have some new plans for the vehicle, so stay tuned for a stand alone engine mangement system install =) We will have these kits up for sale shortly for a very resonable price.

Thanks!

Without intending to provide discourse to a vendor I happened to have done business with, you should be advised like the dealer would, that a TBE mod and intake mods CAN 'hurt' your car in ways that it was not originally built for. ie. You void the OEM warranty with TBE (not CBE though). i.e., with additional HP, more stress is transferred all the way to the tires. Rubber won't mind too much, but there are other parts between engine and tires that will have to bear additional stresses, and stresses are what cause fractures. (Second law of thermodynamics is wording about entropy, but my translation is simply "Stuff breaks")

Add more HP, and "stuff breaks" still, but it breaks more often.

In other words... GET A TUNE.

You're biggest performance to dollar ratio will be the tune. Get it done.

Not to take any money out of ETS' pockets, but it'd be wise to do the tune then get mods. You don't want to put much stress on the car without one.

Will it work? Of course it will. Is it optimal??? Definitely not.

You know it! It's even more fun with the 35R! Once the build is completed, I will post up pics!

Thanks,

Michael

We started off by running pump gas on the X and made 477whp at 22psi right off the street. We then drained the pump gas and put C16 into the tank.

After putting race gas in the tank we set the manual boost controller and we spiked to 32psi and tapered down to 29psi. The car made back to back 600whp runs! Here is the video.

Then we did another pull and made 614whp!
