Looking forward to my set up with all these parts (intake, turbo back, 3.5" FMIC, all IC pipes) from ETS.

Then off to Chi-town for AMS tune, then Auto-X and track days start right back up! Cannot wait.

If only picking out coilovers was this simple.

so would you recommend the 4.0FMIC over the 3.5?

I'm using the 4" FMIC and I plan on using it right til 600-650 crank HP.

Likely if you never plan on upgrading past the stock turbo then the 3.5" FMIC will work just fine but as you can see in the charts there were greater gains from the 4" even without tuning at the 350-400 crank HP level.

yes, I would recommend the 4.0" over the 3.5" - The car will benefit even on the stock turbocharger

Thanks,

Michael

Mike, you guys are doing a fantastic job.. keep it up.. I'm buying a turbo kit from you guys the second I build up teh monay. Time to ***** myself out to all the women in town..

I installed the 3.5" single exit you guys made for me... LOOKS INCREDIBLE. No hijacking intended here lol.. I will post up pics and sound clips as soon as the snow here takes a break.. sheesh.

You guys do have a 5" Intercooler for the X right? What modifications are needed to get that fat boy seated in there?

haha, can't wait! Yes, we have a 5.0" intercooler kit. You will need to cut about an 1.0" off the backside of the crash beam.

Thanks,

Michael

Never tested it on the stock turbo, but on the evo 8 the guy who holds the record for stock turbo runs our 5.0" intercooler. The 4.0" makes a huge difference over stock on the X (22whp over stock w/ no tuning)

Thanks!

Michael

1. Would you recommend running your 35R kit on the stock internals (4B11)?

2. How much boost (on the 35R) can you run safely on 93 pump (w/ stock internals)?

1.) Yes sir!

2.) Here is a graph of our X with pump gas and race gas with the stock block. We have seen 500's when running in the upper 20 psi range.
