Do you clean the filter with K&N cleaner and oil?

Bryan, just have a check on most of the dynos with stock exhaust .. so far that's what I noticed if the boost control is not setup properly ..

Nope .. normal soap and water .. airdried ..

I didn't stick the intake pod shielding to the radiator cooling plate so it's very easy for me to remove the filter

custom tune definitely seems to be the way to go. Hopefully it will take care of that dip. +1 for the cobb accesport though.

I have run mine for the past two days with no ill effects (except 28mpg mixed!) with the Perrin Stage 1 v.2 map, although I have kept the RPM down to below 4000K.

I also have the Perrin stage 1 Map, what I find is it gave better torque down low, but high end seems to be slow compared to the Cobb stage 1 Map.

how much tweaking capability do you have with an AP? After you get the maps from Cobb, can you manipulate them further on your own?

yea i been running it for 2 months.
i like it, would i recommend it now that ecuflash is out? i dunno..

i was neck and neck with a tbe stage 2 AP 08 sti when i had just the stage 1 AP and catback.

i think AP and EcuFlash are going to be my favorite over ecutek just cause u can carry various maps, data log, clear cels, and tune all by yourself.
