nice.. very impressive for cobb's ots map. i know my sti pulled something like 303whp with cobbs 93 oct stage 2 map (just turboback). their ots maps are pretty rich.. but not too bad imo.

So what is the final word? Was there really a new Cobb Stage 1 93oct map released in March? And is it better than the Perrin Stage 1 map?

There was a revised map and I noticed an improvement over the previous map for sure.

Can you just download the new revised maps off Cobb's site?

my question is should i be using the perrin stage 1 tune or the cobb stage one tune if my mods are k&n drop in filter, UICP and test pipe? I know cobb is bringing out the new tune for a drop in filter but i have heard people say that the drop in filter does not lean the car out that much. I am currently using the perrin because they ok it.

Best advice would be to contact the guys at Cobb or Perrin for a definitive answer.

Back in the day, yes. The Cobb map seemed to have a slight advantage.

But, it's hard to say at this point. Those were old maps from both Cobb and Perrin. Both have upgraded their maps for more/better hp & tq.

Has anyone compared the newest maps from Cobb and Perrin? I know Perrin released some new ones in December, so those weren't available when this thread was originally started.
