Talking 60 whp gain After DG Tune!

My baseline

195whp/250wtq

My tune

255 whp 275wtq

Keep in mind all numbers were achieved on a low reading Dyno Dynamics dyno aka heartbreaker, which reads like a Mustang dyno almost.

made 60 whp and really smoothed out the powerband, I'm running 25 psi and tapering down to 19/ 20 and I'm making power up until about 7k rpm now. Did a few pulls with the un-tuned red x in the pics (video coming soon) and the car felt much better like night and day. Much Props to Pete @ DG Motors, thanks again man, I recommend you guys to everyone DG is a great group of guys, no question.

Now on to the pics
Feeling patriotic

Nice meeting everyone from that day, It was a real nice day.

I would like to take the time and say BJ's car has been the lowest evo X to baseline on our dyno. I would assume the parts he had on his car before he got tuned hurt the baseline numbers quite a bit. We average 205-220whp compared to BJ's 195whp. As far as tuning goes, Bj's car is very mild compared to some of the other evo x's we tuned so far. a 60whp peak gain is very impressive considering a catback/intake/and upper IC pipe is all of the power mods on the car!

Overall Numbers are Quite Impressive. Note- Stock Ecu Controlled Boost!

+75whp @ 7,000rpm!
+65wtq @ 7,000rpm!

Lets go to area under the curve @ 5252rpm

+47whp/wtq

This car really woke up from 4200rpm and all the way to 7,000 rpm as the power just keeps climbing.

Enjoy your car, it was a pleasure!

Hah, Jamar can drive his car, I'll give him that. It is even better hearing him bang gears with that nice exhaust on it now.

Only the best and proven to work time and time again.(Buschur 4.5" Race Core w/ lower and upper IC piping.)You would be amazed in the amount of timing I have going through this car. It's all about the right combination of parts that are proven to work again and again. Before the new turbo setup I am going to see how 30psi works on strait 93octane with a few more degrees of timing

Why is there such a spike in the torque curve?

That is the boost spike, but due to not having adequate "T-bolt" clamps, he would spring a small boost like right after the initial 25psi spike which would make boost taper off more harsh. I can assure boost holds a solid 25psi now until about 6500 where it tapers off to red line

He only has the thin worm clamps all around right now. Pops hoses off like crazy!

Evo a Mula- Yea, definately a fun day. I'm not worried about 335's anymore BUT they are doing some heavy modding as well so my test pipe and wga and LIC pipes are going in next. Then a follow up tune

Actually P, can you order those T-bolt clamps for me for the next time I come in? I'm going to be ordering that wga next week.

Forgot this pic, J (red x owner) taking aim @ all those non modded whips out there with his Bushur cannon!
