Much of the jist of the thread is that Cobb's Mustang Dyno reads just about the same as ours. There have been questions brought up about whether our dyno reading is correct, so this should just be another third party source that our dyno reads exactly as it should.

Exactly. That way when I get my X tuned again on the 30th people won't *****.

I would regret the lose of my AP, I think its a sweet device but I have no idea who can tune it locally now that I've left Texas.

My wife also doesn't like me spending more money on dyno time plus custom tune after I spent the money on this test. I am in Florida for another two weeks, so I am still making that decision.

I am at least happy that something meaningful came from this.

We appreciate you coming by. As we spoke about at the shop, your best bet is custom tuning the ECU for your individual car in this climate, humidity and temperature. The sale of the AP should cover all of your tuning and dynotime expenses.

I would say that the two dynos are spot on . But the difference in sea level will change boost and tune . Sorry no offense but i like a dyno that no one can say that you can manipulate it . So dyno jet is my dyno of choice. Like i said no offense.

Can't you still apply a correction factor to a dynojet?

All TTP does is correct for density altitude. It eliminates many variables that will affect the results.

TTP's dyno does read high. It made the same whp as the other with higher ambient temps and less boost. Thats high to me. This doesn't mean its a bad thing. Don't necessarily look at peak numbers, but rather gains.

I was thinking the same thing. A fifty degree difference in temp and 1.5 less psi and the same whp means it reads higher. I personally dont care how high a dyno reads. Its the way the car runs, feels and delivers.

I also wouldnt say that it reads high, just higher then what Cobbs was at that time. I think dyno numbers only mean what you want them to mean.

Im in no way "dissing" TTP. Just giving my opinion on what Iv read and seen so far in this thread.

Also were both dynos set without weather Correction? That also plays a role in the # since its an option on MDs not a standard feature.

Exactly... Excellent work to the OP. TTP's Mustang Dyno is definitely on par with other Mustang Dynos across the country.

When I see people whining about their dyno I think they should instead be focused on why they are even complaining? Inferiority complex?

I worry about my own car. That is all I need to be concerned about.
