Gregory's Beast of an MR! 305whp/350wtq
Gregory's Beast of an MR! 305whp/350wtq
Gregory came to our facility a few months ago after purchasing a brand new evo x mr during one of our dyno days. We strapped the car down and did a base line. The results were an insulting 185whp/235wtq.
We then discussed what I needed to get him 300whp in the dead summer on our dyno and he wisely took my advice, bit the bullet and bought everything in one shot.
Mods:
- AMS V-Band Catback
- AMS Test Pipe
- AMS Widemouth o2 Eliminator Downpipe
- Buschur Racing 4.5" IC
- Buschur Racing Polished Upper and Lower IC Pipes
- Buschur Racing Intake
Tuned By Pete.
Dyno Sheets:

Gains:
+100whp/120wtq @ 3,900rpm
+120whp/120wtq @ 5,252rpm
+140whp/125wtq @ 6,500rpm

Notes:
I feel we are at the limits of the MR's Tranny with the amount of torque we are making. You can see some slight slippage at peak torque on the dyno graph. 3 back to back pulls and the tranny would heat up and start to slip. The tranny does not slip in any gear 1-5 on the street. I highly recommend a tranny cooler upgrade when reaching this amount of power on our dyno.
Enjoy the power greg! Be safe!
