Boomba Tuned Stock Turbo vs. FP RED vs. FP Red w/ cams

These are some resent Evo Xs we have built / tuned over here at Boomba Racing.

The first Evo X was a complete engine build we did in house. Heres a link to some build pictures https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mi...p-red-e85.html
Car is running a FP Red, Kelford s2's, DW 1300cc injectors on E85. We maxed out the FIC 1100's he was using @ about 400 whp on our Mustang dyno. We went to the 1300's to get the injector dutys back in check. Car ended up making 449 whp and 410 ft/lbs!!

The second Evo X is also FP Red powered but still on the stock motor and stock cams. This GSR is also feed by DW 1300cc injectors, and burning E85. On a stock intercooler the car made 409 whp and 356 ft/lbs!! The customer has resently upgraded the intercooler.

The last Evo X is sporting the stock turbo. This 2008 GSR had some bolt-ons including; catback exhaust, test pipe, 3' intake, AMS FMIC, and a hard upper intercooler pipe. We also used a grimmspeed BSC to keep the boost from falling off. Car made 330 hp and 311 ft/lbs!!

I am about to start my fuel upgrades and I was going to get 1000cc injectors, but it looks like I will max those out pretty quick. I guess 1300's it is

The Evo X stage 2 Kelford cams are 270/260 duration. If you have the stock turbo we usually recomemd the S1's, but for a bigger then stock turbo go with the S2's.

The 1000s are good for a stock turbo on E85.

Thats still great power but looking at your torque numbers tells me boost is not cranked up very high. What kind of gas are you on? If these are pump gas numbers then they are very good!
