Great Results Tom

I cant wait to see the full graph, let alone to see how the girl performs on e85

It's Awesome for a vendor to see similar 3rd party results

Do you think you'll run it across the dyno w/e85 in its current configuration?

No, I'm pushing 466/424 before the tb on E85. Calvin at Cobb thinks it would hit 480 maybe 485 hp and as much as 440 tq. It's a guaranteed rod break on the dyno. Once the motor is built we'll redyno it.

Try to keep all variables (weather conditions, strap tensions, etc...) the same.
you may have parts that you can run without re-tuning. IMHO, it is more important to re-tune than to say bye bye to your engine. remember, he is already pro-tuned prior to that part being installed. installing a new part may/may not cause the engine to give up.

you may have a point in the variables and all (weather stuff), but in the end his setup gained whp which is what he proved, plus he did mention that he had im, etc port matched.

Also, boost pressure (psi) does not tell you exactly how much air is going into your cylinders. You have to have a restriction to have boost pressure. So say you installed a ported head (with different valves, springs, etc) and when you dyno'd it your boost pressure dropped alil compared to when you had the stock head installed. This does not mean you have less air going into your motor, it means your head is more free flowing and less restrictive.
this is exactly why that part proved that he gained. it provided more flow that his engine and/or turbo wants..

to OP, nice gains.

why does it say 14 hp? Looks like you gained 30whp. 384whp to 414whp no?

That dyno chart is rather old. We did a bit of tweaking and it did 390 HP on pump then I did ceramic coatings which gained a few more... then we finally ran with the installed TB which gained 14.

Every time I do any mod at all, I get a re tune no matter how small or minor.
