BeaterX: Dynojet numbers finally!
yeah, I mistakenly assumed it would be same size as a BBK full . I have always been impressed with the BBK results on the 8/9 platform. the compressor wheel on the BBX full is actually a good bit bigger than an FP red. the turbine is kept on the small side to improve spool so the overall flow looks to be about like a red but with better low end response. another home run from CBRD if you ask me.
The BBX is closer to the FPblack in terms of power/spool.
Scheides is around, he just bought a project evo 9 so he is keeping busy.
lot of good setups with 400wtq for 4000rpms on the x. The fatness of the X helps spool and torque comes on earlier with mivec as well.
If you like the BBX, wait a bit for the new CBRD turbo, supposed to be really nice.

Interesting comparison. 525 whp was the most that I got out of 3dman1's FP Red, so perhaps its a reasonable comparison for the 4B11T turbo. For sure though, the FP Black for the 4G63 is in a completely different power league than the BBX or BBK-3B. Transient responose on the 4G63 FP Black suffers of course.
