I've learned to not argue with people when they do not believe that MPG can be tuned. It's fine with me. Math doesn't lie, I don't need to argue with people about it.
Both my Mitsus make 400whp+, both run E85, and both get 18-21mpg Hwy.

I had just keyed on the car after the fillup. 
I'm not saying that, but experiences do differ! You know more about tuning than I do, I can only speak for my personal experiences in my IX and X.
