Talking 2011 Evo X EF2 + MX1 352/317 Mustang

Daily driver tune on 93 octane

AMS intercooler
ETS intercooler pipes
ETS intake
Cobb exhaust
Cosworth MX1 cams
AccessPort custom tune
ID 1000 injectors
Boomba 255 fuel pump
MAP Ported and coated exhaust manifold
AMS widemouth downpipe
MAP EF2 turbo ported and coated
ARP headstuds
Cobb EBCS

It hits hard and is much more fun to drive. Can't wait for the next track day.

Sounds like fun but the numbers seem a bit low.

That looks like the power curve I want. I want something with like stock spool that has more top end.

AMS' Mustang only reads about 8% lower than their Dynojet.

Nice power curve, any concerns with the reliability of the motor at those power levels?

Can I ask you all a question or two on Horsepower Calculators & Dynos. I accept the fact that Mustang Dynos are more conservative than Dyno Jets. My question pertains to common horsepower calculation formulas like: HP = Weight * (MPH/234) ^ 3
example: http://www.wallaceracing.com/et-hp-mph.php

I drag raced my car this past weekend and went 12.772 @ 107ish I have a couple things removed from the car and with me in it with approx 5 gallons of fuel it weighs real close to 3650 lbs (Heavy Helmet) Using the above formula it says the car makes a wild exaggerated 348 hp to the ground. It was just recently dyno'd on a Dyno Jet at 319. I really don't care about the exact amount of HP because to me its all relative to how much you gut the car and how fast you spend. I am just curious if these formulas are skewed for like RWD/Single Powered Axle and etc.

I would like more power. Your dyno looks good. I have heard that the Cobb dyno reads a little higher than other Mustang dynos. AMS tuned it so I am not sure what could be done better.

When you get tuned at AMS you have to fill out a paper stating what you plan to do with the car. I said daily driver and track day car. Maybe they left more on the table because of that. If I was drag racing the car you can tune it more aggressively because it would not have extended periods of load. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Your max boost is about a pound higher than mine. The AMS Mustang reads about 8% lower than their dynojet from what I have read. That should be about 380 whp on a dynojet. It sounds a little better but I am not too focused on the number.
