I noticed that compared to others. It looks kinda choppy but does that have to do with smoothing? I'm not too knowledgeable with these graphs. when he did this run he still street tuned the car. It runs smooth and seems to have a good powerband.

Does the boost curve look like a roller coaster? Once you reach peak boost, does the boost drop but then comes back up? If so, your tuner needs to learn how to tune a 3-port on the X.

I think when it was all said and done he was talking about the curve and did correct it. I had fuel issues which he tuned out also so I think this run was when he had the fuel issues in check. I think I might go get the ride dynoed again to see if he actually tuned the boost curve smoothly. I saw when he was working with the boost and that was after this dyno session. it looked pretty steady after the street tune he did. never did go back to the dyno after that. probably shouldve but it was like midnight. He didnt mind staying later either. I was there like 7 hours.

7 hours? Wow.

That power curve is wack. You shouldn't have that giant loss of power in the middle.

Where is that Loss of power your talking about in the middle? it looks steady in the middle rpm range. are you talking about the torque? Is that the tune?

Yes, tq falls off hard. You spike your 324# at like 4000 and by 4500 you're getting back under 300. Your HP goes flat at that same point.

My best guess is a hard boost spike then a quick bleed off, but it's hard to tell with out seeing the boost and fuel graphs on the dunno sheet

Ah I got ya, Im going to ask for a printout and post further. This has me really wondering. could it be that he didint tune the 3port right or problems with my car? He said my car is running strong but maybe there is an underlying problem. Thanks for your input. im new to the whole dyno tuning stuff.

I run a stock , but boost 25 psi and it bleeds to 20 late in the power band.

From what I've heard, 3 port solenoids can be tricky to get dialed in.

Yea i will probably have him re tweak it when I get the boost graphs. I think he told me mine spiked at 24 and tapered to like 19 or 18.
