Look at mine about 5 threads down. Original baseline in green showing a big spike then it dips to like 17. You'll see a power dip like yours, worse actually.

You'll see in the red pull, it's all cleaned up.

I have stock cams. Don't look at the blue Kaizen dyno sheet, that's someone else...just an upgrade I've been eyeballing, look at the English racing sheet in the first post.

Ok now i got it. So that was from just a bad tune? holy #^#@! It does kinda look like mine. the tuner said he was having fuel delivery issues and i was running at max efficiency for my injector pulse duty cycle. so he tweaked it I will try to get the last run and see if it dipped like that. Was it running like crap before you went to English?

No, it ran great, just a bit weak on the top end and not real smooth. Aaron dialed it in after about 20 minutes.

If you're having issues with fuel delivery at that power level, you have an issue elsewhere.

Do you have the updated fuel pump relay?

your power curve shouldnt bow south like it does, should be fairly straight. something is up probably boost leak or something in the tune.

Yes but i think that might be on its way out too. i have a blue one on order. By the way I had the blue one but the tuner said it might be going out.

I think your tuner doesnt know much about tuning the X. Some tuners can be awesome with the 8 and 9 but that does not mean they know how to tune the X. The X is a completely different platform. I would recommend getting a retune. If you live in texas, go to Cobb Plano. IDK how far away they are. You could always get a Etune by Golden or Clipse.

He has a good track record with the X's. And a great one with 8's and 9's. I DO agree that they are two different monsters. Ill give him another chance to re-tweak if possible. I am pretty far from plano. Wish Austin was still doing tuning and not R&D. Been asking them for about a year. I heard about the tunes by Golden and his name reflects his tunes.

He said the curve was good. I saw all my runs and it was consistent. Saw the boost graph and it was actually consistent at 25 dropping down to 21. He said he doesnt like to tune for a whole bunch of torque for reliability( i know anything under 400tq is money) It still drives great and have been monitoring knock and have maybe one count on my AP here and there but hear as long as its not consistent should be ok. Later on down I might get golden to tune my ride but have had a great experience with the shop that tuned and will continue to go to them.
