Iveytuned 362/336

Hello all. On a Cobb intake, Megan Downpipe, Megan Testpipe, and Perrin Catback, the car made 331 awhp tuned by ivey. It baselined at 287. Since then, I've added Cobb IC Pipes, Replaced the megan downpipe with an AMS Widemouth, AMS 3.5 inch Intercooler, Forge BOV, and Grimmspeed EBC. I recently got the car retuned and made 362 awhp and 336 awtq. Car feels strong and the car keeps pulling without loss off power up top. Down below are the 2 dyno sheets for comparison.

Current Setup:

Old Setup:

Thanks.

You can control boost at any given RPM range via the ECU with the EBCS. This is particularly useful for people with upgraded turbos. For example, say you are you are pushing 27psi and at 6krpm you experience detonation. With an EBCS you can adjust the boost as necessary right @ 6krpm. On stock mbc, you are forced to run this adjustment from the beginning to the end of the rev range. Also for those people with stock turbos, it appears to hold boost better, flow better, and provide quicker response. All the graphs of people running that grimmspeed ebcs seem have had fantastic WHP results whether being on minimal mods or upgraded turbo.

Stock is electronic boost control as well, that's why your stock ECU can control your EBCS I've heard different things about when an aftermarket 3port is beneficial over the stock setup and can't speak from experience on an X, but the theoretical advantage is less leakage and faster response.

A manual boost controller is an adjustable spring to slow down the flow of air to the wastegate, but this isn't what the stock setup is. There's a pill in the boost lines stock, but boost is controlled by a pair of solenoids.
