Evo X With Basic Bolt On Makes Some Serious Numbers

Dyno Sheet from an EVOX with some basic bolt ons! Made an Impressive 328whp on a stage 2 tune!

The mods on the 2011 Evo X are:
- SpeedCircuit CAI with AEM prefilter and filter (main filter was optional and purchased)
- Driver side fog mesh (replaces panel) for more airflow and lower air temps to the filter.
- EBC (unknown brand)
- Synapse DV (latest version)
- Perrin Turbo Inlet
- AMS Widemouth DP, custom TP, Perrin Catback (Stealth)
- Depo UICP
- Boomba Catchcan (not HP relevant)

That's pretty impressive. That's about 20 hp more than me on a mustang with similar mods, minus the dp. Just curious as to what happens to the boost at 4000 RPMs on that graph?

Very impressive numbers here! We'll see how my 2011 GSR compares with similar mods on PRS's dyno this Tuesday. Very excited to see the results! Congrats to the owner on the new-found power. Great job Akuma.

Hey guys,

We made 321/321 today in disgustingly hot and muggy Florida weather having to take breaks in between runs for necessary cool down time.

With the addition of the AMS down pipe we immediately saw HUGE gains in torque having to pull back a bit due to hitting 340tq! The tune is very responsive and smooth, pulls nicely and holds you in the seat all the way to red-line vitually through all the gears.

Will post a dyno sheet as soon as it's available, just thought I'de share my experience.

Here is the mod list:

2011 Evo X GSR

ETS Intake
ETS UICP
Grimmspeed 3-port
Stock Crushed BOV
AMS Intercooler
AMS Downpipe
Megan TP

Interested in viewing the comparison. I chose the SpeedCircuit CAI because of this thread: http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34352 , and its ability to draw cold air consistently. Its not sexy under the hood but the numbers certainly are.

In addition, the AMS folks and their widemouth DP have posted good numbers so I added that as well. These two coupled bolt ons with the turboback setup seem to "move the needle" along with an excellent tune.

Thanks Akuma.
