Ivey tune mr 312/323

Got my 08 mr tuned at Ivey. Mods are ets upic, ets fmic 3 inch, aem cai and grimmspeed 3 port. I am on my phone a lot for business and am driving very often so I did not want any added noise and therefore no exhaust mods. The car put down 312hp and 323 wtq peaking at 22 psi and tapering to 20. My Cobb accessport said calculated torque was 405. Knock sum was 0/1 so I am very happy. The car feels good and very smooth but I'm not completely satisfied. I am bit spoiled as my ctsv puts down 570whp. I'm thinking I need a slightly bigger turbo.

Has anyone put a fp red or green on an mr with stock exhuast? Would I need injectors and cams for a fp green. I'm aiming for 360/360. Doable? I'll post the graph a bit later. I'm lazy and don't have access to a scanner until tomorrow.

You don't really ever NEED cams, they just shift the power band up and over a bit. You should be able to hit 360/360 no problem on a green, and may be able to do it on stock injectors but you should upgrade to be safe, and then not have to worry about limiting power on the green since you should be able to make more than that, even with the stock cat back. Adding a testpipe with the stock cat back won't really increase the noise at all, I would do that next if I were you.

Get a high flow cat, and Perrin exhaust. Car will not be any louder at cruising speed, but you will see good gains under full throttle. I wouldn't do this until you upgrade the turbo, as the turbo will need the extra flow.

yea, you can hit 400 WHP on a green pretty easily. Exhaust is a big limiting factor on our cars. get a HFC with a quiet free flowing exhaust and youll open up 10-20whp even without a retune.

these are questions you should ask Ivey and his staff. They know their stuff.
