Idk, I think they are pretty reliable. The only issue I've seen was Beeble's, and that wasn't an issue with the turbo, that ended up being his feed line from the block or something

All the time but most of the time not noticeable probably because of how good E85 burns in our engines . It's definitely much harder to feel the breakup when not on the dyno strapped nice and tight. Biggest indicator that was resolved was the crap idle and warmup lope that was always annoying

We shall see, I am not dead set on the GTX. Its expensive too so for sure not a sealed deal.

What rpm are you at when trapping 124? I noticed you staying in 4th and trying to see how much you can stretch it out doing the 2.2 Over Bore versus the 2.4 Big Bore Stroker. I am torn between the two setups. rpm capability or more torque and shorter gears.

My rev limiter was 8700rpm's I think, not sure what RPM I was at through the 1/4 though, I didn't really look. I think I bounced off the limiter but I think my clutch was slipping a bit too.

I'll have to look next time I go. If I could do it again I'd be very tempted to do the 2.4L but I'd prolly rev that out too. So far I love the 2.2L though.

My plans are to get a GTX3576 setup though right now, we will see if I follow through.
Do you know if the GTX turbo would be livable as a daily driver?

Me too, that is the goal.

I don't know, I don't see why not. Spool would be around 4k-4.2k rpms so probably the same or a bit better than what I have now.

My evo is perfectly fine for daily driving, drove it 9000 miles in like 6-7months last year, so plenty of dailying. The only thing I would want different is probably a twin clutch for a little more livable daily.

But every persons definition of a daily is different. I bought a 2012 Kizashi for my daily and love that way more for my daily commute, comfy, quiet and A/C heated seats etc. But the evo pleases me in different ways

So sure I would daily the GTX3576 but wouldn't recommend it to others I guess unless they knew what they were getting into.

Hey, nice setup man! Just wondering where you got the AMS Spec JE pistons at a 10:1 CR. I looked on their site and can't seem to get this combo. Were they special order?

I think it has the 10 second pass in it too, I just need more wheel time than 4 passes lol. If I do change the setup, i am leaning toward the 6266/6466 twin scroll setup, ive seen some impressive stuff lately from such setups.
