TurboTrix Tune 352whp/280tq

Went for a tune today and was surprised on the torque numbers but the tuner said 280 tq is as much as I would be able to get. There was deffinetly a consistent amount of torque (straight line across). The hp numbers I was pleased with but wish I was able to get more torque. Any reasons why it couldbe so low. I was around 21psi . These are the mods I installled

-Ets quiet exhaust
-Ets open dump
-Ets test pipe
-Ets intake
-Ets intercooler
-Upper and lower intercooler piping

Appreciate all the info guys!!!

That's a good power for just 21psi boost!

Pretty good numbers i believe you went for more power than torque.

Wish I could get more tq. He said I would need an aftermarket acuater in order to be able to hold anything higher than 21.

Yea, get a 3port and you'll see a big difference.

You don't need a new wastegate actuator to get more than 21psi, you need to know how to tune an Evo, lol. Even still, at 21psi you should see around 325tq (and closer to 375hp) especially with your mods.

LOL @ this. Stock evo's come with more than 21psi, if he really tuned it for a peak of 21psi then yes he is doing something wrong.

You should probably be running around 25-26psi tappering to 18-19psi at redline with a preloaded stock WGA and get a 3port too. Your torque is low because your peak boost is low. Your giving up a ton of meat in the middle of your powerband.
