08 GSR 91octane

Just wanted to post up my Dyno tune from when I first got my Evo back in 2013. 6 years later and I've been on the exact same tune, no mods have been changed, and have never had an issue with the car at all. RELIABLE.

(2008 EVO GSR 91 Octane)

AMS Front mount intercooler

Cobb Upper/lower polished intercooler piping

Greddy EVOlution GT dual tip exhaust w/ titanium tips

Cobb Accessport tuning software with 3 port

Drop in foam filter

346 WHP
352 Tq

So it doesn't look like you have any parts installed. Just a (possibly) more freely flowing air filter, an intercooler, and the piping. Are your numbers just a matter of the tune?

I have an AEM intake with a tune from Ivey making just over 300 hp/tq.

Im sure the dyno is a higher reading dyno but number are number when it comes to tuning. It just a tool. most mustang dynos read 15% lower then a dynojet. So if you made 350awhp and 350 tq on a mustand dyno you would be around 403 AWHP and 403tq. but it seems like these are really high number for a basic set up on 91OCT for sure. i just got tuned a 5150 racing and on 91 with FBO i made 310AWHP and 320TQ. and their dyno reads really low.

Yeah good point about different dynos, though the 350hp would still be impressive.

Stock, the Evo takes 93, right? That's what I always use. So do you tune for 91 due to higher compression from a bigger turbo and higher boost pressure?

91?

Don't think you would. 93 more stable usually you have higher compression and run low grade fuel it predetonates. So with ignition before top dead center it jars the crank takes out bearings. That's my experience with non boosted application but don't see why it would be different. Take in mind I've only had Evo for a year so I'm still new to boosted soaking up information.

Dino#

With ams intercooler, intake, fp black, 1000cc injectors, 320 pump, catless single out exhaust turbo manifold back. Gram light wheels 93 fuel 30 psi ,my dino was 430 hp/368tq at early performance but I don't know witch dino brand it was.. and got cob boost controller sure there is couple things I'm missing on parts list.

Probably in a state where 91 is the highest octane available.
